ENERGY FROM BIOMASS
(Coupling power –
heat)
Customers
- timber industry and forest industry
- general industry
- municipal communities
thermal load: from 1500 kWth up to 20.000 kWth
electrical load: from
150 kWel up to 4.000 kWel
Depending on the kind of fuel and the size of plant there can also be used as
well Underfeed Stoker Units/Grate Firing Systems as Hydraulic Grate Firing
Plants.
The following processes can be applied for production of electrical
power:
Steam-process
(saturated or hot steam) – power production by means of steam turbine or
steam motor.

ORC-process
ORC process (organic rankine cycle) with steam carrier thermooil and organic
evaporation medium. Power production by means of turbine.
Operating mode
- carried on with heat
- carried on with power
The classical power-heat-coupling plant is the operating mode with heat. That
means, that production of power depends on the quantity of heat that is emitted.
Total generation of
power with emission of nominal heat power;
according
to the partial loads lower electrical power.
By operating mode with power the plant is run with complete electrical
nominal power,
in which the produced heat has to be led away completely. An
uncoupling for heating
and processing heat is always possible.
POLYTECHNIK can supply safe solutions for “energy from
biomass” – not only solutions
in standard versions but also solutions
according to the respective demands for commercial
use of different
fuels.
Decades of expertise by our highly qualified employees is a benefit to you at
the
planning of the plant.
